We start our ride at the impressive Whitton Malthouse. Tucked away in the heart of the Riverina, the Malthouse is more than just a destination — it’s an experience. Built as a celebration of local produce, craft brewing, and regional storytelling. We spend our first night enjoying chef David’s meals and in the malthouses lakeside villas.

The first day has you imagining the rhythm of hooves on soft earth, the scent of river red gums in the air, and the glint of sun on water as you ride along one of the Riverina’s most iconic waterways — the Murrumbidgee River. This horseback journey from Whitton to Yanco offers a rare chance to slow down and reconnect with the landscape, following the river’s winding path through farmland, woodlands, and quiet country tracks.

This isn’t just a ride — it’s a step back in time. Parts of the journey may follow historic stock routes once used by drovers moving cattle and sheep across the plains.

From there we will leave the river and wind our way along stock routes where we will stay in tented camps, ride our way through the Colinroobie hills and onward to the country town of Barellan.

Our final destination is the Barellan Good Ol’ Days Festival where they will host an auction Wednesday Night to which all proceeds will be donated to Fight MND.
