The alpine climate can be very unpredictable. We can ride in sunshine without a cloud in the sky and by the evening there will be a thunderstorm with hail.

For this reason we have two lists, essentials that you must bring and non-essentials.

Non-Essentials

  • Long Sleeved Shirt

  • Jodpurs/Stretchy Jeans

  • Riding/Flat Soled Boots

  • Warm Jumper (Woollen)

  • Wet Weather Gear

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses, Hat

  • Lip Balm with SPF

  • Sleeping Bag rated to -5

  • Towel

  • Personal Medications

  • Torch

  • Toiletries

  • Comfortable Shoes for Camp

  • Power Pack/Battery Charger

  • Swimwear

  • Alcohol

  • Hand/Face Wipes

  • Gloves

  • Hot Hand Hand Warmers

  • Hot Water Bottle

  • Camera

  • Fishing Gear

  • Musical Instrument

Other things to note:

Your clothes can get quite dirty.

We will have the fire going most nights unless there is a total fire ban.

We will have limited extra woollen blankets for you.
